Tim Lemanski, Chief Executive Officer
Tim has lived in Kalamazoo since 1977. He spent the majority of his professional life as a banker with First of America Bank Corporation and its predecessor, National City, for 27 years, managing mergers and acquisitions, community and economic development activities, branch bank expansion and public policy initiatives, including the bank’s corporate giving program for the bank holding company. Tim served on the board of directors of KNHS for 6 years and then as the interim CEO of KNHS prior to being invited by the board to be the CEO of the agency.
His community involvement includes a founding member of the board for the Turn 2 Foundation, Kalamazoo Habitat for Humanity, and Gryphon Place. Past community involvement includes the Kalamazoo Rotary Club, the Detroit Piston’s Stay-In-School program, the Michigan Housing Trust Fund, the Council of Michigan Foundations, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Detroit branch and over 18 more organizations.

Sharilyn Parsons, Deputy Director
Sharilyn joined KNHS in 2002 and comes to our organization with over 5 years in Real Estate experience. Her responsibilities include: assisting qualified applicants in securing financing for the purchase or rehabilitation of their property, organizing and facilitating the Fast Track and Home Buyer’s Club education, loan origination and loan servicing. She is also a certified MSHDA Homeownership counselor and Neighborworks trainer. |

Debra Ritsema, HomeOwnership Specialist
Debra joined the KNHS team in November of 2003. Her professional background includes over 8 years in mortgage financing, over 11 years in marketing with 5 years of working in the credit bureau reporting industry. She also has a strong background of 9 years of working with major financial institutions in the state of Texas. At KNHS Debra assists qualified applicants in securing financing for the purchase or rehabilitation of their property, assessing loan applications and origination, processing and loan servicing. |

Julie Harter, Loan Servicing Agent
Julie joined KNHS in December of 2003 and comes to our organization with over 13 years of loan servicing, credit and collection experience. Her responsibilities include loan servicing, collections, delinquency prevention counseling and maintaining client relationships. Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University. |

Roger Eriksen, Development and Construction Manager
Roger oversees agency real estate development, new construction, housing rehabilitation services, the overall construction and rehabilitation budget, and supervises two construction specialists at KNHS. Roger has over 20 years experience in construction and social work in Kalamazoo. Roger is also a licensed contractor and lead abatement specialist. He has been with KNHS since April of 1999. |

Sherry Kerney, Rehabilitation Specialist
Sherry provides rehabilitation inspections, preparation of specifications and the monitoring of rehab projects at KNHS. Sherry has over 14 years experience in property management and construction/rehab management. Sherry is a Michigan State Certified Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor and Asbestos Inspector. She is a licensed real estate agent and licensed builder. |

Bryan Ewald, Construction & Loan Assistant
Bryan is a graduate of Western Michigan University who came on board at KNHS full time in 2004. His duties include record-keeping, data entry, the recording and discharging of legal documents, conducting tax and title research, and assisting with property redevelopment coordination and online grant management. |

Sherri Evans, Finance Director
Sherri joined our staff in April of 2004. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and brings to KNHS 8 years of accounting experience. Sherri provides general accounting services for the agency. Sherri was recently (2007) promoted to be our Finance Director. | |
